About

White sailboats, fishing rods from the breakwater and children splashing on the shore. It is the image of a seafaring Fuengirola, of boats, blue waters and wood smoke announcing the seasonal skewers. Its coastline is eight kilometres long and a promenade runs along it and invites you to stroll, enjoy the views and observe the Sohail Castle on the hill. It is the longest on the Costa del Sol.

Hotels, restaurants and shops line the promenade, where architecture and history are also present: the Peseta Monument, the Virgen del Carmen or the Banco de Boquerones, at the height of Torreblanca, among others.

The accessibility and the environment allow pedestrians to cross the footbridges to spread their towel, go for a run at sunset or take advantage of the bike path along the coast.
