About
Lights, garlands and decorations decorate the streets and squares of Fuengirola with the arrival of one of the most special periods of the year: Christmas. The festive season, which begins at the end of November and lasts until January, offers visitors a programme of traditional activities steeped in culture: pastorals, zambombas and neighbourhood meetings, among others.
Under the slogan Live Christmas in Fuengirola, the town centre proposes a tour of the nativity scenes and nativity scenes, as well as musical performances, artificial snowfall, parades and workshops for adults and children. Another of the most visited spaces is the Christmas market in the Plaza de la Constitución, with stalls selling decorations, crafts, sweets, nougat and toys.
The fun and excitement continue thanks to initiatives such as the Great Christmas Bonfire, the New Year's Eve party or the Three Kings Parade, which puts the finishing touch to the festive period.
