About
Integrated into the collection of the Open Museum of Fuengirola, this work is one of the most representative examples of the artistic project promoted by the City Council within the "For an Urban Art" program. Located in a strategic location in the city, Liberation (Julio Le Parc) transforms a party wall into a cultural element of great visibility, bringing art closer to residents and visitors.
The intervention is carried out on fibre cement panels anchored to a reticular metal structure and painted with silicate pigments. Its conservation is essential to preserve the legacy of a pioneering project that turned Fuengirola into a benchmark for outdoor public art, integrating works by prominent contemporary creators into the urban landscape.
