About
This work is part of the historical collection of the Open Museum of Fuengirola, an initiative promoted in the 80s within the municipal program For an Urban Art. Located in one of the party walls of the city center, the piece is integrated into the daily landscape of neighbors and visitors, turning urban architecture into an artistic support accessible to all.
Made on fibre cement panels fixed to a metal structure and painted with silicate pigments, the Eriana mural is an example of Fuengirola's commitment to the incorporation of contemporary art into public space. Its conservation allows a pioneering project that transformed different facades of the city into a real open-air museum to be kept alive.
