About
This mural represents a metaphor for how we learn, from a young age, to overcome the adversities that come our way in order to stay on our feet. Through the innocence of a child, who simply played at jumping from stone to stone and not falling into the water, the artists see in the scene a poetic reading around the idea of confronting the difficulties in life.
The photograph that has been painted was taken by the authors in the south of Portugal while a child was playing on the beach. An interesting aspect if you take into account that the painters wanted to relate the light of the scene with the summer light in the maritime area of Fuengirola; In this way, they visually and aesthetically relate their pictorial representation to the landscape and the southern territory.
