Camela is a techno-rumba musical group from Madrid, born in the neighborhood of San Cristóbal de los Ángeles, originally founded by Dioni, Ángeles and Miguel Ángel. They are characterized by mixing lyrics about love and heartbreak with influences from flamenco, synthesizers and electronic rhythms, which made them a sales phenomenon without critical or media support in the 90s. After the departure of Miguel Ángel in 2013, the group continues as a duo of Dioni and Ángeles, maintaining their characteristic style and reaping great successes.
